Our Maintenance Tech assembled it for me. It took about 20 minutes. All the parts were included and it went together easily. The base is cast iron and the rack is pretty sturdy but maintenance glued the hooks in to add more stabability since it will be used by 15 people. Lots of room for many hats and coats. It's a great rack for the price. I'd denfinately by this item again if we need another.
